IE Smart Systems Virtual Care

Three EHN Plans with VirtualCare2go™Uploaded Image

When you or a family member feels unwell, receiving medical guidance should not add more stress to your day. VirtualCare2go™ provides convenient online medical visits for eligible patients from home, work, or another private location.

IE Smart Systems LLC employees may be enrolled in the Base Copay Plan, Buy Up Copay Plan, or HSA Plan. Each plan uses the EHN Preferred Network, but member costs and coverage requirements may differ. Verify your specific benefits before scheduling a virtual visit.

What IE Smart Systems Medical Plans Are Available?

IE Smart Systems employees may be enrolled in one of three medical plans:

  • Base Copay Plan

  • Buy Up Copay Plan

  • HSA Plan

The available plan information lists the following costs:

Base Copay Plan

  • Primary care visit: $35 copay

  • Specialist visit: $70 copay

Buy Up Copay Plan

  • Primary care visit: $35 copay

  • Specialist visit: $70 copay

HSA Plan

Members must first meet the applicable deductible. Medical cost-sharing information is available on the member’s insurance card.

These amounts may not automatically apply to a virtual medical visit. Laboratory testing, medications, follow-up care, and additional services may be processed separately.

An insurance card does not guarantee coverage or payment. Eligibility, medical necessity, network participation, and the services provided may affect the member’s final responsibility.

For scheduling assistance, call VirtualCare2go at (817) 508-8169.

Can IE Smart Systems Employees Use VirtualCare2go?

Eligible IE Smart Systems employees and their covered family members may be able to use VirtualCare2go for many non-emergency medical concerns.

Virtual visits may be appropriate for concerns such as:

  • Cold and flu symptoms

  • Cough, congestion, or sore throat

  • Mild fever and body aches

  • Headaches and migraines

  • Nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea

  • Urinary symptoms

  • Minor infections

  • Mild allergic reactions

  • Rashes and skin concerns

  • Medication-related questions

  • Routine primary care concerns

  • Certain follow-up visits

The medical provider will determine whether your concern can be treated virtually. Some symptoms may require an in-person examination, laboratory testing, imaging, or a higher level of care.

Call 911 or visit the nearest emergency room for chest pain, severe breathing difficulty, signs of a stroke, fainting, confusion, uncontrolled bleeding, major trauma, or another life-threatening emergency.

Who Administers the IE Smart Systems Plans?

Anchor Benefit Consulting is the third-party administrator for the IE Smart Systems Base Copay, Buy Up Copay, and HSA plans.

Anchor Benefit Consulting can assist members and providers with:

  • Eligibility verification

  • Medical benefit questions

  • Virtual-care benefits

  • Prior-authorization requirements

  • Claim-status questions

  • Copays, deductibles, and coinsurance

  • Provider-network participation

Call Anchor Benefit Consulting at (888) 487-1807 or visit the Anchor Benefit Website.

Have the member identification number from your insurance card and the name of your IE Smart Systems plan available when requesting assistance.

How Do I Verify My Virtual-Care Benefits?

Before booking an online visit, contact Anchor Benefit Consulting at (888) 487-1807 and ask:

  • Does VirtualCare2go participate with my IE Smart Systems plan?

  • Is a virtual medical visit covered?

  • What copay, deductible, or coinsurance applies?

  • Are laboratory tests or medications billed separately?

  • Is prior authorization required?

  • Will I have a time-of-service responsibility?

  • Are there network or location restrictions?

Write down the representative’s name, the date of the call, and the reference number. Final coverage is determined when the administrator processes the claim.

VirtualCare2go can collect your insurance information before the appointment, but Anchor Benefit Consulting provides the official explanation of plan benefits.

Is Prior Authorization Required?

Prior-authorization requirements depend on the service being requested.

Members and providers should contact Anchor Benefit Consulting at (888) 487-1807 before receiving a service that may require approval.

Prior authorization does not guarantee claim payment. Current eligibility, medical necessity, network participation, plan exclusions, and other requirements may affect how the claim is processed.

What Network Does the Plan Use?

The IE Smart Systems medical plans use the EHN Preferred Network. This network includes Baylor Scott & White Quality Alliance providers who have chosen to participate.

Not every Baylor Scott & White Quality Alliance provider participates in the EHN Preferred Network. Members should confirm that VirtualCare2go participates with their specific IE Smart Systems plan before receiving care.

To locate or verify an in-network provider:

  • Visit the HST Provider Search

  • Call (800) 440-7427

  • Contact BSWQA Care Navigation at 1-844-279-7589

Provide the employer name, plan name, member identification number, requested service, and the patient’s location when confirming participation.

Are Specialist Referrals Required?

The available IE Smart Systems plan information does not list a general specialist-referral requirement.

Certain specialist visits, procedures, tests, or treatments may still require prior authorization. Contact Anchor Benefit Consulting before beginning specialist care to confirm the current requirements for your plan.

How Should I Prepare for My Virtual Visit?

Before the appointment, prepare:

  • Your IE Smart Systems insurance card

  • A photo identification card

  • A current medication list

  • Known medication or food allergies

  • Relevant medical records

  • Recent laboratory or imaging results

  • A description of your symptoms

  • The date your symptoms began

  • Your preferred pharmacy information

  • A reliable internet connection

  • A private, well-lit location

Join the visit using a device with a working camera, microphone, and internet connection. Remain in the state where the appointment was scheduled unless the medical team instructs you otherwise.

What If I Need In-Person Care?

A virtual provider may determine that an in-person examination, laboratory test, imaging study, procedure, or emergency evaluation is needed.

If this happens, the provider will explain the recommended next step. Coverage for outside services should be verified separately because another provider, facility, laboratory, or imaging center may submit its own claim.

Claims Information for Providers

IE Smart Systems claims are administered through Anchor Benefit Consulting.

Electronic claims: Payor ID IHS07

Mailed claims:

Employers Health Network
P.O. Box 507
Arnold, MD 21012

Providers should verify the member’s eligibility, plan name, authorization requirements, and current claim-submission instructions before sending a claim.

Medical Care That Fits Into Your Day

VirtualCare2go makes it easier to speak with a medical professional without traveling to a clinic. The provider will listen to your concerns, evaluate whether virtual care is appropriate, and explain when an in-person visit or higher level of care may be needed.

When you are ready, Book a Virtual Visit or call (817) 508-8169. Please have your IE Smart Systems insurance card available so your eligibility, benefits, and network participation can be reviewed before the visit.
